Director - Open Stack Solutions Marketing
Entrepreneurial leader to drive our OpenStack Business. Managing private cloud infrastructure for the communications and network market space, driven by unprecedented scalabilty, reliability and performance. We are seeking a senior leader to provide business leadership to our latest key strategic initiative.
Responsibilities:
� Lead business aspects driving our OpenStack strategic initiatives, to maximize the pace of delivery and innovation
� Provide business oversight for our OpenStack based solutions and high reliability feature sets, essential for next generation communication networks
� Through strong collaboration, develop business plans and go to market details, prioritizing feature development and customer to maximize efficiencies
� Establish tight alignment with Development teams, and participate in regular release meetings (Agile scrums, burn-down, etc...)
� Provide business leadership for the Sales teams, including training and mentoring for value based engagements
� Develop pricing models synergic with solutions with the Networking portfolio
� Become a recognized voice in community meeting and conferences
� Collaborate with marketing collateral organization for material preparation and presentations
� Work closely with Strategic Marketing on business development and positioning of OpenStack
� Provide strategic view on contributions back to the open source community and alignment
Requirements:
� BS/MS CE or equivalent
� Software development background with an emphasis in communications and systems
� Experience with large scale and highly available network architectures
� Comprehensive understanding of network element management and telecom equipment
� Span full range of business scope
� Strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills
