Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Channel Marketing Communications Specialist for our technology client in Sunnyvale. The Channel Marketing Communications Specialist will support the development of plans for product promotions in support of marketing objectives, ensuring that sales professionals have necessary product collateral and advertising materials. In this entry-level professional position, you will have the opportunity to build your marketing and communications skills, while contributing to departmental goals.

The ideal consultant has good writing, editing, and organizational skills. Must thrive in the fast paced environment of a growing, global high technology company. Looking for someone enthusiastic, open, flexible, and able to work with many different personalities.

Responsibilities:



Provide project support on the following activities:

Collateral project management including meeting project schedules, deadlines, gaining approvals, and meeting established budget requirements

Provide creative direction and design on collateral including:

Datasheets

Brochures

White papers

Technical reports

FAX documents

Work with cross-functional teams to develop collateral materials and ensure that sales' have necessary product collateral and advertising materials

Support of projects that support the larger vision of collateral hierarchy footprint

Manage collateral and promotional item inventory within the fulfillment center; maintain spreadsheet database and reorder as necessary

Work directly with and manage fulfillment vendors

Analyze usage reports, obsolete old/unused items. May manage localization efforts with EMEA and APAC

Edit and provide recommendations and feedback on promotional materials, advertising, web content, etc.

Work with the web team to post content to internal, external, and partner sites including:

Design files

Icons

Visio stencils

New content

Participate in other marketing communications projects as needed

Skills:



1-2 years' combined channel/marketing communications/field marketing/project management coordinator or specialist level experience (global, B2B)

Excellent verbal and written communications skills, especially writing skills (2-3 samples required for consideration)

Good analytical skills and ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams

Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas

Ability to function well in a fast paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities

BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Technology or Business

Preferred: Broad understanding of data storage/big data products and services technologies/concepts in a distributed environment

Rate: D.O.E. as a w2 employee of Crawford Group, benefits available

Location: Fully onsite at clients' office in Sunnyvale, CA. No phone calls, please.

Hours/Duration: 40 hours per week, ASAP – June 27, 2015.
