Channel Impact is seeking an Area Marketing Manager to help the client build partner driven revenue in the commercial market space. This role will have responsibility for the overall marketing strategy, as well as execution, measurement and evolution of that strategy for the two US Commercial Central Sales Operations.
This is a W2 opportunity with Channel Impact.
Responsibilities include:
-Ensure solid knowledge of clients go-to-market model, partner business models, key architectural solutions and sales practices and processes
-Ensure deep knowledge of Operations' Select customer base and routes to market; act as partner to
-Operations Director on route to market strategies strategies
-Build relationships with Area and Operation leadership critical to achieving success with Central marketing planning and execution
-Leveraging a broad set of customer, partner and market analytics, Define overall marketing strategy on annual basis (fiscal-year based) for the two Operations, looking for coordination/efficiency opportunities
-Leverage and integrate key US-level demand generation programs, then partner for or create incremental programs that meet unique Operation business needs Partner with Programs, Americas Field Marketing, Global Demand Center and other support resources to ensure excellent execution across all responsibilities
Partner with Territory Marketing Manager (TMM) and Enterprise counterpart to ensure appropriate and optimized cross-leverage of events and programs across the Territory and Select teams and customer bases
-Manage share of contractor resource to support tactical, logistical, event, communications or other marketing support needs (Tactical Marketing Coordinator shared with Area's TMM)
-Create and drive a refined set of unique Central Select marketing programs where urgent market needs are not covered by US or global programs
-Gather and present accurate and concise metrics regarding marketing activity and impact, at minimum on a quarterly basis as part of a quarterly business review process to key stakeholders
-Oversee/participate in operation-level communications, including commit calls, marketing newsletters, key overview presentations and more
-Educate sales, channels and partners about marketing opportunities, best practices and techniques
Act as marketing resource to sales, channels and our partners re: joint marketing with partners
Experience and skills include:
-5-10 years of field and/or channel marketing experience, preferably in high tech … vertical marketing expertise also valued
-Experience creating, driving, measuring and evolving a comprehensive marketing strategy
-Analytics experience and metrics-driven mind-set
-Expertise at building and expanding internal and external relationships
-A mindset for innovation and creativity
-A demonstrated and current knowledge of high-tech / b2b marketing best practices
-Knowledge of networking industry, its customer base and partner business model
-Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a highly matrixed organization
-Highly organized to ensure multiple strategies, programs and activities are executing as planned
-Budget management experience
