Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a Content Strategy Consultant for a project-based assignment with one of our high-tech clients located in Santa Cruz, CA. The Content Strategy Consultant will establish process foundation for the development of content templates and governance with key focus on message architectures, editorial calendars, content inventory (capturing and tracking), content governance models and templates.
The Consultant will be responsible for capturing all relevant marketing content and ensuring alignment to key selling triggers, as well as project managing the development of new and revised content. Additionally, the Consultant will partner with Marcom leads to publish internal and external content and will collaborate with Brand and Product/Segment marketing teams.
The ideal consultant has proven success in a similar role providing strategic recommendations for web content creation, publication, and governance.
Specific responsibilities:
Establish the foundation for the development of content templates/governance. Key areas of focus include: message architecture, editorial calendars, capturing and tracking content inventory
Internal and external collaboration across multiple teams and organizations: Marketing Communications, Product/Segment Marketing, Field and Partner Marketing, Brand teams
Project - manage the development and publishing of new/revised content. Partner with Marcom leads to develop and publish content internally and externally
Ensure all revised content/assets are tagged accurately by content themes
Maintain sensitivity to the customer web experience, inclusive of the greater web and clients' external corporate website
Skills:
4-6 years' developing and managing digital/web publishing programs. Must proven experience creating and implementing content creation, delivery and governance processes. Practical knowledge and application of digital platforms and content management systems (CMS) required
1+ years' client/agency/consulting experience a plus
1+ years' IT/technology focused marketing experience strongly preferred
Experience with web publishing concepts and awareness of customer experience on externally facing websites, ability to map customer journeys
Working knowledge and experience with Marketo and Salesforce a plus
Knowledge of web analytics and segmentation based marketing
Proactive, collaborative, strong project management capabilities
Ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams, negotiate ideas, and drive to quick decisions
Strong communicator, verbal and written
Solid editorial capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Marketing, Business degree or similar
RATE: D.O.E., as W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available
