Avani Media is an independent media representation company specializing in advertising sales of leading overseas-based information tech, biotech, clean tech, business and lifestyle web sites and publications from over 20 countries worldwide.
We have an immediate opening for a part-time sales associate. Our ideal candidate is extremely detail oriented, organized, comfortable on the phone and interested in working in a small, dynamic company with an international focus. She or he must have excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook PowerPoint). Foreign language skills - especially German, French, Spanish or Chinese are a plus, but not essential.
Responsibilities include:
1. Assist in creating sales proposals and presentations in response to client needs and/or opportunities
2. Prospecting and qualifying sales leads
3. Develop sales collateral and handle mailings on an as needed basis
4. Maintain and update contact information and sales data on Salesforce.com
5. Work closely with existing advertisers and ad agencies, managing their print and online campaigns
6. Trafficking ad creative
7. Coordinate programs with our overseas publishing contacts
Position may become full-time after a few months. This is a great growth opportunity for someone interested in international media and/or advertising sales.
Company is based near San Francisco, in Sausalito, CA.
