POSITION - COMMUNICATIONS PROGRAM MANAGER
DURATION – 6 MONTHS +
LOCATION – SAN JOSE, CA
Role Responsibilities
• Developing or guiding the development of creative and high quality communications with high impact results that leave a lasting effect.
• Build a communications strategy approach that supports the program goals and objectives.
• Conducting thorough audience assessment in order to develop targeted collateral and to create program branding and awareness
• Develop and drive communication plan, working across the program, level, orgs to deliver targeted messages around program
• Expertly using all forms of available media to reach a wide audience (required templates/formats, knowledge and alignment with MarCom /marketing tools/other comms people)
• Developing and managing the development of:
o Communications Plan and Strategy
o Stakeholder Analysis and Management Plan
o Leadership Action Plan (Communication, roadshows, etc.)
o Workplans/Implementation/Mitigation Plans for all the above (as needed)
o Build out and maintain: Mailers, Alias', Program website, Doc/Library of content, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience with methodologies and tools that span an entire project life cycle from idea conceptualization and project planning through design and development to implementation and benefits realization
• Expert level experience in communication principles and best practices
• Superior business/technical writing and editing skills
• Demonstrated experience as a project manager using proven methodologies
• Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
• Significant experience working with people at all levels of an organization
• Demonstrated ability influencing and supporting senior leadership
• Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
Desired Skills
• Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
• Problem solving and root cause identification skills
• Effective collaboration in global setting
• Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail
