We are currently seeking a talented and highly motivated candidate from a software application technology background with business development expertise building ISV partner channels for this exciting opportunity:

Position: Director of Channels

Location: Mountain View/Palo Alto, California area

Position description:

The charter for the qualified candidate for this role is one that will aggressively seek out and develop strategic partnerships and alliances with leading enterprises that will add to add to the company's increasing customer base and rapidly increasing revenue stream. In this role the candidate will closely with the product management team to implement and follow up on partnerships that contribute to the enhancement of the product offerings and to the revenue goals of the company. A strong base of C-level contacts and other relationships within the leading technology and Internet companies combined with a history of exceeding sales targets are requirements for this position. This is an extremely visible role within the company and your focus is to partner with internal teams and cultivate new and existing business through partnerships.

Position responsibilities:

• Identify new partnership opportunities across ISV channels.

• Develop plans to enhance partnerships to develop relationships to drive incremental revenue for the company.

• Support the development of new initiatives in cooperation with internal departments and partnerships to drive new revenue.

• Develop and maintain critical relationships within partners with the goal to grow business and increasing high quality lead flow to Adaptive. Analyze and optimize the revenue flow of existing partners and advise on business/technical/product implementation improvements that would enhance the value of the partnership.

• Represent the interests of the partners within the company Adaptive to build the relationships and build awareness within the company

• Work with marketing to coordinate programs that ensure partner events are funded, attended and provide maximum amount of high quality leads.

• Evangelize Adaptive partners at events, shows and webinars and other speaking opportunities.

Required experience and skills:

• 7+ years' experience in partner/business development of software technologies and building partnering models with ISV's.

• Proven sales track record and demonstrated ability to establish, maintain and grow partner business relationships.

• Experience with top global software companies and complex partner environments required.

• Excellent solution sales, business judgment, negotiation and decision-making skills.

• Demonstrated business acumen and experience working with senior level executives.

• Ability to travel as needed

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams towards an effective goal.

• Experience managing partnerships with consulting firms and systems integrators for an enterprise SaaS software solution.

• Bachelor's degree
