Channel Impact is seeking a Channel Marketing Manager for one of our clients located in Denver, Co. This role will run from May-September.
Job Description:
The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategic vendor marketing programs to drive awareness, increase market share, directly impact sales, and grow revenue. This position will focus on federal, state and local, and commercial/enterprise business segments and will collaborate closely with vendors, corporate marketing, regional sales, and vendor alliance managers to ensure the needs of all regions and vendors are taken into consideration when developing programs.
The Channel Marketing Manager will be expected to utilize a mix of different marketing mediums including but not limited to collateral, email, web, events, tradeshows, call campaigns, videos, and webinars to meet program objectives.
Partner with vendors and sales to create co-marketing programs to generate sales pipeline
Build relationships with vendor marketing representatives and work with them to develop co-marketing campaigns, then execute on the delivery of identified campaigns
Track performance of campaigns including measuring the leads and pipeline generated, create and communicate status reports on the overall vendor programs
Manage multiple vendor portals to upload campaigns, request funds, track funds, and provide proof of performance
Manage the development of marketing collateral including case studies, sales materials, videos, and website content
Ensure Microsoft Dynamics CRM records are up-to-date to reflect current marketing campaigns and results
Other responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
Required:
3-5 years experience in a vendor/channel marketing manager position
Solid understanding of the vendor sales process
Strong ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
Proven track record of driving successful vendor revenue through marketing strategies and programs
Exceptional project management skills, attention to detail, and keen ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously delivering on time and within budget
Excellent communication skills, including verbal, presentation, and written with a track record of writing for multiple types of print, email and other digital deliverables
Team player, willing to contribute to projects and tasks outside listed responsibilities
Preferred:
Microsoft Office Suite, including proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
Working knowledge of ActOn, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and vendor portals/claim processes
Knowledge of Cisco, EMC, NetApp, VMWare, Citrix, and Splunk technologies is desired
