Senior Program - Project Manager
DURATION – 6 MONTHS +
LOCATION – SAN JOSE, CA
Seeking a Senior Program/Project Manager to work in the Product and Services Sales Strategy Planning Organization to drive and support the deployment enablement of new cloud capabilities.
Main responsibilities:
• Drive and manage product releases aligned with Sales revenue and forecasts and track results
• Lead the identification of program issues, risks and mitigation plans
• Become an expert on improving and using the specific tools and processes used by the team
• Manage milestone deliverables
Experience Education:
• Minimum 7-10 years' experience of business program/project management skills
• Experience in Cloud Services and Big Data
• Exhibits strong management of project scope with the skills to drive milestones and deliverables, and understands the requirements for success. (PMP certification is desirable)
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities and be able to effectively communicate across diverse and global project teams and to high level management
• Exhibit strong strategic thinking and planning
• Strong team work and collaboration skills - Strong collaboration and communications skills with maturity to interact comfortably with a vast spectrum of hierarchy
• Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization and build trusted advisor relationships.
• Knowledge of program management software, Big Data and Cloud Services
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be proactive and exhibit strong leadership skills
• Excellent active listening skills
• Be flexible to take on different roles/responsibilities as program needs change
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• PMP Certification or equivalent
