ADMISSIONS ASSISTANT

Full-Time or Part-Time position

CAIS accredited, PK – 8th grade, French bilingual, East Bay independent school, over 520 students total, seeks a part-time Admissions Assistant, beginning August 2015.

The Admissions Assistant provides necessary administrative support and reports to the Director of Enrollment and Outreach. S/he is responsible for administering all aspects of the Admissions processes during the school year as directed by the Director of Enrollment and Outreach.

Requirements and necessary skills

• Minimum two to three years of experience as administrative assistant, preferably in a school or nonprofit setting

• Experience with Admissions and Admissions' software as well as French language fluency a plus

• Experience in working with volunteers desirable

• Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office and databases

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills

• Passion for details, ability to prioritize workload and to work effectively with multiple demands in a bilingual and team-oriented environment.
