CAIS accredited, PK – 8th grade, French bilingual, East Bay independent school, over 520 students total, seeks a full-time enrollment and outreach director, beginning mid-April 2015.

The Director of Enrollment and Outreach oversees, directs and manages the admissions, enrollment, marketing and communication processes for the whole school. The Director of Enrollment and Outreach is expected to maintain a high level of professional competence in best practices with admissions processes and eligibility, as well as marketing and communication in general. S/He is a member of the management team and reports directly to the Head of School.

The Director of Enrollment and Outreach serves as a primary point of contact for all admissions related inquiries, and is responsible for training, supervising and evaluating admissions and communication staff. His/Her primary responsibilities consist of promoting the school, building a strong, diverse and welcoming community, ensuring enrollment targets are met, developing nontuition revenues, providing transition programs for incoming students and families, and ensuring excellent overall parents' experience.

The Director of Enrollment and Outreach works closely with all school constituencies, including faculty, administration, parents and trustees, to create and complete a program that thoroughly attracts targeted prospective applicants, retains current EB families, creates new income streams and provides positive opportunities for marketing and experiencing the ethos of EB's multicultural community.

Requirements and necessary skills

• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, to think and plan strategically and creatively, to meet measurable goals and to manage programs and activities timely and on budget

• Strong knowledge of marketing, in particular social marketing, required

• Bachelor's Degree a must. Master's Degree a plus

• At least five years of experience in admissions, communication and marketing, or related experience in a non-profit environment, preferably in education.

• Computer literate including Internet, e-mails, Microsoft Office and databases, knowledge of File Maker Pro database and Blackbaud Admissions software is preferred.

• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a plus

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; passion for details, ability to prioritize

workload and work under pressure both independently and within a bilingual team-oriented environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills both in French and in English
