The Role: Audit Senior
The Location: Plano/Dallas, TX
Montgomery Coscia Greilich LLP, a full-service professional accounting firm is seeking an Audit Senior to join our team. We are a leader in our field and one of the largest local firms in our area with expertise in traditional accounting services as well as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and systems consulting.
The Audit Senior will work as a part of an audit engagement team performing day-to-day activities of annual audits and financial statement reviews for assigned clients. They will work hands-on performing the audits, and on occasion oversee audit staff. They will be responsible for making sure that the audits are within budget and completed on time. While working on the audits, the Audit Senior will need to be able to identify client performance improvement opportunities and assist in communicating with the audit manager and partner.
Required Skills & Experience
At least three years of recent audit experience in public accounting
Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university
Experience performing audits and financial statement reviews working in the role of senior
Some supervisory experience or management of indirect reports
CPA or eligible to sit for the exam
Applied knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS commensurate with experience
Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, and decision-making abilities
Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with client Controllers & CFO's
