The Role: Market Manager
The Location: Southern Florida (Miami, Fort Lauderdale area)
Deep Eddy Vodka is a distillery based in Austin, Texas that creates superior beverages by using only local, natural ingredients. Made by hand, gluten-free and distilled ten times, our product raises the bar and is truly "one of a kind." Our growth has prompted us to search for a dynamic Market Manager to establish our brand presence in the South Florida region.
The Market Manager will call on retail and on-premise accounts within the local area. The majority of their time will be spent on sales and working with the distributor on marketing efforts. In addition they will support the marketing activities of the field marketing representatives.
Your Required Skills & Experience:
You have a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, a related field OR comparable experience
You have three or more years of successful sales experience in the wine/spirits industry with an established network of distributor and retail chain/account relationships
You have demonstrated success working for a supplier by prospecting, building key relationships and selling a full line of products
You have experience with on-premise accounts
You have the ability to work independently from an established home office
You build professional relationships with ease and are comfortable in a sales role
You are "type A", self-motivated, results-oriented with a strong work ethic
You have a polished appearance with commanding interpersonal communication skills
You have the ability to travel 60% of the time
Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required
