Rovi also provides its own extensive entertainment discovery solutions for television, movies, music and photos, together industry leading entertainment data, to create the connections between people and technology, and enable them to discover and manage entertainment in an enjoyable form. Rovi is a global company headquartered in Santa Clara with nearly 2200 employees worldwide.

Responsibilities take over all but a handful of the US accounts for MainConcept Codec SDKs, Transcoding SDKs, Authoring SDKs and Rovi TotalCode transcoding software. The individual would be responsible for receiving inbound leads, getting NDAs in place, providing evaluation software, presenting our product lineup to prospective customers, quoting customers from our standard price list, ensuring the evaluation process progressed with the assistance of our developer support team, working with legal on getting license agreements in place, forecasting business in SalesForce and ensuring customers were invoiced through accounting.

Experience with technical sales is mandatory
Experience with software sales is mandatory
Experience with use of CRM software and standard business software applications is mandatory
Experience with video technology, steaming technology, the transcoding market or the multimedia software industries is not mandatory but is highly desirable
Periodic travel to trade shows or key accounts would be expected but travel outside of the Bay Area is infrequent.
