Job Requirement:
Qualifications/Requirements: (Basic Qualifications):
- 3+ years experience with object-oriented development using Enterprise Java technologies
- Experience with enterprise-class application servers such as Tomcat (preferred) or JBoss
- Experience developing Web Services and Windows Services
- Experience in database development using relational databases
Knowledge of design patterns and three-tier/three-layer applications design - Software development process/methodology experience and familiarity with software development life cycle concepts
- Demonstrated ability to work independently possessing functional expertise to design and develop a sub-system or application module
- Ability to communicate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting, discussing, and documenting technical information
- Must be a self-starter with excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Desired: (Desired Characteristics):
Strong OO / C++/Java background
Some Imaging and Healthcare background.
NET 3.5 / 4.0 including WPF and WCF is a plus
Experience with Java Server Pages (JSP) is a plus
Experience working under Agile software development methodologies (e.g. SCRUM, etc.)
Deep knowledge of database design, tuning, troubleshooting with SQL Server is highly preferred
Experience in the Healthcare IT industry
Masters in IT, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
