Human Resources Manager
Location: Dallas, TX
Oversees the administration and development of Human Resources functions and services for US operations of a global logistics company.
Responsibilities:
Benefits Management Oversees the administration of all benefit programs. Evaluates and monitors benefit programs and makes recommendations to improve quality of service and contain costs. Works with Broker to manage annual benefits renewal and manages the annual open enrollment.
Staffing Works with management to acquire talent for the organization. Develops and maintains relationships and agreements with external vendors to source candidates.
Payroll Management Manages employee change transaction process and oversees multi-state payroll to include timekeeping, processing, tax filings, garnishments, and regulatory and legal compliance.
Performance Management Oversees the performance management process to include annual review activities and support of on-going performance feedback utilizing Employee Performance Management System.
Compensation Management Oversees compensation administration by managing the annual merit and bonus process. Utilizes survey data and internal information to guide management concerning compensation decisions.
Training and Development Conducts or sources professional development training for employees and management
Legal Compliance Ensures that all governmental reporting is performed in a timely and accurate manner for areas of oversight including, benefits, compensation, EEO. Stays abreast of legal environment to ensure that company practices are in alignment with applicable state and federal laws, (e.g. FMLA, ADA, EEO, ERISA, etc. )
Education & Experience:
Bachelors Degree and 5 years experience in Human Resources in a generalist capacity to include specialist experience in payroll, benefits, and compensation.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills required.
Excellent customer service skills.
Experience handling sensitive, confidential information.
