CHANNEL PARTNER MARKETING MANAGER FOR CISCO

We are looking for a Marketing Manager for Cisco that is well versed in designing, developing and executing against strategic leadership programs aimed at Channel Partners. The person in this role will focus on marketing deliverables in support of programs as well as develop and manage the launch programs. This position will partner various teams to determine the most effective programs, tools and strategies, including communications to further the objectives of their initiatives. The position will be responsible for an array of activities focused on launches and marketing campaigns.

The Marketing Manager will develop program messaging which will be converted to be applicable to the deliverable. He/she will ensure that the program strategies are successfully executed across multiple channels. Will also act as the conduit into the main organization in which this role is situated, in order to pull all the other campaigns together to ensure a cohesive message. Will serve as a marketing management advisor to marketing leadership teams and build partnerships with individuals at all levels of the organization and works across multiple functions within a high tech company. Works as part of a team to achieve desired results. May manage outside vendors and consultants.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Successful experience in managing execution plans and specifically executing marketing program strategies, across multiple regions and time zones

Demonstrated ability to define and assess marketing programs and communicate value of said programs to various constituents

Ability to develop and evolve short and long-term marketing strategies while consistently driving tactical projects

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively influence cross functional teams

Solid influence, consulting, and content development skills

Able to partner with individuals at all levels of the organization and collaborate with other functions across the company.

Solid presentation skills, project management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

Strong project management, negotiation and decision-making skills

Experience working on virtual teams and with cross-functional organizations

Demonstrated ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams to complete project and major initiatives

Ability to identify critical barriers to success and quickly determine mitigation plan to ensure timely and successful out come

EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires BA/BS in Marketing or related field plus 8-10+ years of relevant marketing experience. High tech experience required. Experience with Channel business models required. Must have experience in working on global, cross functional teams
