International Consulting Group Marketing (www.icgmarcom.com), located in Silicon Valley, is seeking a well-qualified Web Content Marketing consultant for our leading High Tech client. Seeking candidates who can provide and deliver this leading-edge expertise and innovative contribution. Requires an individual that thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and broad cross-functional team environment.
Location: Onsite at Client HQ – with some offsite flexibility. South S.F. Bay Area/Silicon Valley.
Consultant Pay: Depending on experience.
Duration: 1 year plus.
Description: Requires a Senior Web Content Strategist and ideally an Online and Marketing generalist who is capable of leading, strategizing, managing and delivering a wide variety of online projects to meet marketing and communications objectives. Responsible for working closely with stakeholders, marketing managers, marketing communication managers and developers to target segment audiences with optimal content. Must excel at being a trusted and credible cross-functional advisor/partner, program/project manager, and independent contributor.
Must Have:
• 8 + years of B2B Web and Online Marketing experience, including at least 6+ years of Web program/project management
• Core competency with integrated content strategy, assets and optimization for online programs and campaigns including for targeted segments and audiences
• Proven ability to participate in and contribute to segment marketing planning and the
development of targeted content i.e. audience, topic, format, placement, promotion, editorial calendar, goal, measurement
• Ability to apply SEO best practices and ensure integration into plans
• Successful track record with large-corporate high tech web presence across products, solutions, services, employees and partner sites
• Capability to collaborate and apply web; standards, branding, messaging, content and design elements
• Adept at facilitating reviews and QA to ensure high quality deliverables
• Working knowledge of Content Management and Publishing
• Experience with Social Media Tools
• Expertise with web analytics, reporting, metrics, KPI, ROI, etc. and ongoing performance and results optimization. Experience with Omniture Site Catalyst and Google Analytics a plus
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional relationship management
• Proven ability to work strategically and tactically to get things done. Adept at knowing how to take an idea and then create an effective action plan with next steps
• Passion for the web, solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies
Strongly Prefer:
• Marketing or Marketing Communications background
• Services or Professional Services exposure
• Working knowledge of Salesforce.com
• BA/BS, in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field
