THE WORK
The Marketing Programs & Events Manager is responsible for creating highly effective lead generation programs utilizing the latest in on-line (80%) and offline (20%) marketing methods. Creativity is vital in this role as you establish programs that drive high volume and quality results through lower-cost methods. This person will utilize an integrated and collaborative marketing model that incorporates all corporate assets and leverages new online technology and processes around email, web adwords and banners, multi-media and other state-of-the-art web methods. In addition, this position will manage various events in conjunction with Workday and various trade organizations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Development of a corporate demand generation plan, aligned with corporate objectives
• Design and execution of lead generation programs using online and offline methods
• Management of various types of events, including tradeshows, user conferences, webinars, briefings and internal DayNine events
• Development and management of customer marketing program and activities
• Establishment of measurable response rates, conversion rates, and ROI for all programs and events
• Management of all demand generation activity and data in the Salesforce.com system
• Clear and regular communication of demand generation activities throughout the company
• Reporting and analysis of all programs
• Supporting other international regions in their local marketing efforts and leveraging Americas and corporate programs
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Four-year degree in Marketing/Business, or equivalent work experience
• Proven track-record of developing and executing successful demand generation programs with high-ROI
• Familiarization and experience using online marketing technology and methods
• Experience managing various types of events
• Prior involvement in customer marketing programs and frequent customer interactions
• Requires strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs and meet tight deadlines
• The ability to work independently with moderate direction, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential
• Demonstrated good written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge and experience with Salesforce.com
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical information.
• Demonstrated ability to compose clear and concise technical written communication.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
• Demonstrated ability to utilize Internet Resources.
• Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers in a Windows environment, including word processing and spreadsheet applications. MS Word, Excel, Outlook and other related software programs preferred.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint preferred. Experience with Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
