Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking an Internal Communications Manager consultant for our client's Advanced Services team. The Internal Communications Manager will create program communications in support of our clients' Advanced Service Portfolio Initiative.
The Portfolio Transformation Initiative is the new Services Portfolio framework of common, reusable building blocks that are configurable and viewable through a variety of lenses. Transforming our complex portfolio into a simple framework of common reusable building blocks makes our portfolio easier to understand, position and view through different lenses that are outcome based and customizable. The goal of the Modular Simplified Portfolio initiative is to transform our complex portfolio into one that is simple to position, improves orderability, and accelerates service development.
The ideal consultant is well versed in driving change management communications to internal audiences across a wide range of online/offline channels (newsletters, video, presentations, etc.)
Responsibilities:
* Create and manage the Portfolio Transformation End-To-End Road map
* Work and collaborate with the Portfolio Transformation program tracks to ensure all communication milestones are tracked and documented
* Collaborate and assist the change management track in creating communications for the "initiative roadshow"
* Support and develop initiative communications targeted to various internal stakeholders, regions, theaters and segments
* Support the development of various communication and awareness campaigns including executive communication and VoDs (videos on demand)
* Assist Portfolio Transformation team with communication development where needed to meet program milestones/deadlines
* Collaborate with Portfolio Transformation program leads to ensure and support any initiative communications
Skills:
* Must have 7-10 years' marketing, executive, internal or corporate communications experience in the technology sector
* Must have prior experience working for Cisco (either as a consultant or permanent employee)
* Excellent writing, editing, copywriting and proofreading skills. Must be able to effectively influence senior leaders and leadership teams
* Ability to develop and evolve short- and long-term communication strategies while consistently driving tactical projects
* Must have led change management communications for a major program/initiative launch or equivalent
* Solid proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint. Must be able to create clear, compelling presentations
* Commitment to openness and innovation
* Results-oriented personality with a high level of drive and initiative
* Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or similar
Rate: D.O.E per week, w2 as a Crawford Group employee
Location: 80% offsite/remote, 20% onsite at client offices in San Jose, CA. Local, S.F. Bay Area candidates only; No phone calls please
Hours/Duration: Full time, 10.29.12- 7.26.13, with potential to extend
