Job Description
BAO is recruiting for the position of Human Resources Generalist for its Mesa, AZ location. Reporting to the Vice President, HR and Administration, the HR Generalist will provide on-site human resources leadership to the Mesa business unit in support of growth and business objectives. The HR Generalist will be a business-oriented, results-driven individual who can strike the right balance between employee and business needs.

• Support recruiting efforts and manage new hire process from offer acceptance through onboarding
• Conduct new hire orientation to infuse employees with a positive attitude toward company goals and objectives
• Attend to employee relations matters, performance issues, and terminations with a high degree of professionalism and sensitivity
• Partner with managers to create an environment conducive to success
• Bring new ideas and perspective to the HR Team

Desired Skills & Experience
Knowledge and skills required:
• 3 – 5 years of HR generalist experience in a business services environment
• BA in business or human resources, or PHR certification preferred
• Be able to objectively assess situations and coach employees and managers through difficult situations
• Have experience developing/implementing HR best practices in high-growth companies
• Have experience with performance management, legal compliance, and HR technology solutions
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills
