Expatriate Human Resources Overseas Consultant position based in U.S.(Texas)
The candidate will be overseas as an HR Consultant for a few years and return as a FTE in the United States.
• Responsible for administration and compliance assurance of Client Corporate and Expatriate policies, programs and benefits for Client expatriates and accompanying family members located in Saudi Arabia.
• Partner with Expatriate Administration and Relocation Representative regarding market intelligence and local benchmark data to ensure Client Company's policies are competitive.
. Participate as member of Middle East HR team to provide suggested revisions, and assist in development of policies as needed.
• Responsible for Client candidate recruitment and talent acquisition which includes partnering with Client management to administer job postings, selection criteria development, interviewing, selection and offers.
• Support all aspects of the HR function for Client expatriate staff including but not limited to employee relations, organizational capability, workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, training, and benefits.
• Responsible for Client salary and compensation administration. May serve as resource to joint venture companies to secure Client support/approvals for joint venture initiatives and programs for Saudi Arabia.
• Serves as primary Client HR contact for expatriates and accompanying dependents in the Saudi Arabia to provide support in a diverse range of responsibilities including immigration, housing, education, transportation, etc.
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field required. Masters Degree or MCIPD/FCIPD preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of applicable HR experience with a minimum of 3 years of expatriate administration in a non-US location.
• Capable of contributing at strategic and operational level.
• Possess strong consultative skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Must speak English fluently. Ability to speak Arabic is a plus.
• Thorough understanding of and experience in managing risk in Human Resources/business context demonstrating intercultural understanding, and ability to manage cultural differences while actively promoting diversity.
• Possess strong influencing skills and political awareness.
• Models stakeholder management, excellent teamwork and ability to establish sound alliances and long-term partnerships with Client and joint venture company business leadership and human resources teams.
• Sound knowledge of compensation and benefit concepts.
• Travel to Corporate Headquarters office in Texas, as required
