Product Marketing Manager
Networking and Security

Our client is a well-funded Silicon Valley start-up searching for a Product Marketing Manager with experience in networking and security as well as a solid understanding of cloud and virtualization models.
This position is a pivotal role within the marketing team and reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing. The position is responsible for the content and collateral supporting the go-to-market efforts, sales enablement, customer facing positioning and value proposition, and web and marketing mix content. In addition, this position will assist the group in growing the company's market leadership through participation in industry programs, public speaking and other thought leadership activities.
Responsibilities:
Define, create, and deliver sales enablement tools, collateral and support
Write and refine materials and content for programs and campaigns
Create corporate level communications including white papers, solution briefs, case studies and positional papers
Provide content for the website(s) and other integrated programs/campaigns.
Support product line go-to-market strategy and execution for one or more of company products
Execute market and competitive research
Work closely with multiple key groups to ensure sales and customer perspectives are considered throughout the company
Support sales calls and present to customers as a subject matter expert as needed
Support marketing communication activities such as webinars, podcasts, etc.
Requires:
Experience in networking and security
Solid understanding of cloud and virtualization models
Proven success in start-up environment
Strong background in marketing communications and/or product management/marketing
Outstanding written and communication skills
Undergraduate or graduate degree
3-5 years marketing experience working for networking and security companies or equivalent work experience.
