The Solution Consultant is responsible for working with the Solution Architect and the Global Domain Leaders through the sales / solution lifecycle from the initial request for proposal through the due diligence / contracting process. Specific HR and payroll domain expertise and the ability to apply expertise in a consultative sales and solutioning process are required. Knowledge of PeopleSoft, Workday and / or SAP payroll functionality is highly desirable.
Responsibilities include:
1.Working with the Solution Architect, the Global Domain Leaders, the RFP team and the Legal team to assure the full scope of Solution Materials are up-to-date, complete, and maintained on a regular basis
2.Participating in the RFI/RFP process including coordinating and working with the Global Domain Leaders to respond to and update RFP and SOW content, prepare cost models, present solution in client solution days, conduct product demonstrations and participate in due diligence and transition planning.
3. Working with all Sales/Solution parties to assure all Sales / Solution Process Steps have been executed thoroughly and reflect Aon Hewitt standard practices.
4. Working with the Solution Architect, Project Manager and SME's to:
a. Tailor solution materials for specific client pursuits;
b. Develop client specific solutions including the technology and implementation timing strategy
c. Identify risks/challenges associated with the implementation
d. Craft sales and cost/benefit messages; and
e. Review and prepare materials for client responses and presentations.
5.Participating in client presentations and solution/due diligence sessions where appropriate;
6.Assisting with the pricing of client specific solutions;
Qualifications
HR and Payroll Operations and Technology background; knowledge of interfacing areas such as Workforce Administration, Customer Service, Payroll and Benefits.
Client facing presentation and consultative skills
Good conceptual thinker
Analytical with excellent attention to detail
Ability to clearly articulate thoughts and solutions
Excellent written and oral communication skills and proven experience.
HR lifecycle implementation experience
Understanding of application architecture and integration
General understanding of deal model financials
Knowledge of HR or HR-ERP solutions
Deep technical experience not required; working knowledge required
Ability to quickly understand the Aon Hewitt solution model and ongoing operations
Prior outsourcing experience desired
4 year degree in related field or equivalent experience
Willingness to travel up to 30%
