Sr. Software Packaging Engineer
* Create, customize and automate software packages using standard Windows installer format using a variety of packaging tools. * Conduct packaging quality assurance and user acceptance tests. * Responsible for revising and testing standard software builds (or images) for current and past PC models. * Lead collaboration efforts with operational business unit decision makers and stakeholders to define business requirements to identify and resolve software related business systems issues. * Assist in establishing technology based policies and procedures for applications. * Provide expert level technical support for all PC operating systems and shrink-wrapped applications. * Troubleshooting and elevating registry and file system security through MSI in a locked down desktop environment. * Leveraging new knowledge through documentation and updating the knowledge base. Responsible for identifying, implementing and documenting process improvement changes. *
Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Four years of desktop software packaging experience with strong Programming, Scripting or Operations Automation skills.
