Director Information Technology

The Director of Information Technology will develop a strategic business plan for the IT department that will meet current and future business goals of Power Integrations.
Responsible for developing a strategic technical plan for the application and infrastructure environment.
Prepare system development cost estimates, budgets and schedules.
Establish programming standards and program documentation requirements.
Review current status of system applications and prepare recommendations for systems improvements.
Monitor design processes and prepare reports on systems projects.
Build relationships with business units to establish technology needs, system enhancements, and support.
Provide excellent systems availability and technical operations.
Support and optimize global infrastructure for our internal operations.
Experience in maintaining SOX IT controls.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have semiconductor background.
A minimum of ten years of experience in a leadership role with at least five years of direct experience with application development, project management, and risk analysis.
Strong ability to lead, manage teams and motivate subordinates.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Experience with Oracle, JDE, Business Objects,
EDUCATION:
BS in Computer Science or related degree, MSCS or MBA preferred.
