Job Description

The incumbent will partner with theTechnical Operations & Quality function in the development of a business plan and ensure the translation and implementation of that plan into HR actions.
 
Strategy & Planning: 
- Work closely with the Heads of TechOps and Quality, as well as members of the functional leadership teams and  HR Head to implement business objectives by highlighting potential HR-related business opportunities or weaknesses. 
- Translate the functional plans into HR strategic and operational plans; monitor compliance and initiate corrective measures

- Develop recruitment pipeline strategies and building capacity to attract a talented and diverse workforce. 
Participate in or lead various functional and divisional HR project. 

Monitoring & Control: 
- Drive personnel cost planning, performing periodic cost and productivity analyses to support Finance and the Line in maintaining workforce budgets. 
- Ensure compliance with legal framework, SOX requirements, etc. Participate in, or lead, HR Projects. Compile specified HR Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data and format for reporting, as required. 

People & Organization: 
- Coach/drive the functional leadership team and line managers on key HR processes and policies, e.g. Performance Management, OTR (Organizational Talent Review), succession planning and talent management, in close cooperation with the respective TM (Talent Management) expert(s). 
- Coach leadership team, and support them in their coaching and mentoring activities in their teams. 
- Act as a role model for members of the  HR team and provide appropriate coaching and guidance when required. Drive Integrity & Compliance initiatives, and actively create a culture of Diversity & Inclusion. 
- Support and drive consistent and effective communication especially around HR-sensitive issues. 
- Work closely with the HR Generalist supporting Fermentation and Purification, as well as the HR Manager supporting Global Supply Chain.

 

Minimum requirements

- BA/BS degree in Human Resources, or related field.
- English fluency 
- At least 8 years of HR generalist experience of which the majority of time being a HR business partner with experience supporting multiple client groups in medium to large organization.
- Experience in Biotech / Pharmaceutical industry ideally in a GMP manufacturing environment.
- Broad knowledge in compensation, OD, employee relations, training and development, staffing, etc.
- Ability to diplomatically and effectively communicate with all levels of employees.
- Excellent customer service, presentation, faciliatation and conflict resolution skills.
- Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local laws affecting HR activities.
- Track record of successfully supporting the business in managing change.
- Excellent communication skills essential, including experience working in a complex global matrixed environment.
- A proven track record in working with and influencing people with multicultural background.
- Must have cultural awareness and sensitivity.
