The Sage Group is looking for a Senior Product Marketing - Cloud Service Provider, to work for a leading virtualization company in the Peninsula. The consultant will work with various business units to ensure efficient onboarding to service provider portal program, including: packaging, licensing, pricing, and creating the value proposition of products that are promoted in the service provider portal program.
CONTR: Senior Product Marketing Manager, Cloud Service Providers - 5624
Responsibilities Include:
- Serve as a key member to the cloud services team and focus on marketing efforts targeting the service provider segment.
- Drive the adoption and success of the core product portfolio, focused on developing key positioning and messaging, packaging, pricing, and licensing, sales collateral, and serving as a product evangelist to business units.
- Work with business units to pitch portal program and craft messages for business until products.
- Reach out to the business unit teams and enable them to participate in a company service provider portal.
- Develop positioning and messaging that resonates with service provider, relating product capabilities in terms that show value.
- Define product pricing and packaging for our product and solution in order to optimize to drive new generation.
- Create the core marketing content and sales tools needed for the service provider segment with a consistent and relevant messaging.
- Acquire deep customer knowledge through market research, segmentation analysis and 1:1 customer interviews.
- Perform competitive analysis, define and communicate key product features and advantages.
Skills Required:
- 6+ years of experience working in a senior product marketing role for an enterprise level company or large scale cloud service vendor
- Domain experience in hosting service providers, SaaS, or cloud
- Ability to translate technology features into business benefits
- Experience developing and creating license model programs
- Technical background, preferably in cloud and service providers
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and effective project management and analytical/decision making skills
Skills Preferred:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or similar technical degree and/or MBA
Timing: 6+ months, 40 hours/week
