Lead Development Representative Job Description
The Lead Development position is responsible for managing the lead qualification process/program in Salesforce.com. Our BDRs all have the same characteristics: Experience, High Caliber, Seasoned, Culture, Ethics.
This position will be expected to perform articulate, professional, knowledgeable outbound sales calls, telemarketing calls and electronic communications to prospects in order to acquire new business leads.
Responsibilities:
• Ability to multi-task, problem solve, and improve process on the fly.
• Identify and qualify sales leads according to established criteria.
• Develop and execute a Prospecting Plan to develop Sales Lead Pipeline.
• Proactively make 55+ calls per day to identified prospects.
• Maintain close relationship with field sales organization to increase closure rates.
• Obtain thorough knowledge of company�s product solutions, case studies, and business value to identify and drive qualified leads.
• Achieve or exceed all monthly lead quotas.
• Record all communication, sales and lead qualification activity into Salesforce.com CRM system.
Requirements:
• 3-5+ years of telesales experience in a high-tech, business-to-business environment with outbound cold calling.
• Must be a positive, high-energy, self-motivated team player.
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to be proactive and take the initiative to get things done.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding lead generation objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral & written) skills.
• Excellent knowledge of telemarketing best practices and proven qualification skills via phone.
• Proven comfort and skill to navigate through all levels of an organization, and dig into a customer�s business to help them improve their operations.
• Deep Internet and Web research experience.
Compensation: This position will receive $12-$16 per hour plus bonus and health insurance benefits.
