Wind River, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) and the leading global supplier of embedded software solutions for the Internet of things is looking for a top notch Product Marketing Manager to lead and manage the strategic outbound marketing function for Wind embedded operating environments. The ideal candidate will quickly conquer the learning curve to build comprehensive go to market launch plans, develop product messaging, craft customer specific value propositions, product sales enablement tools, and develop and execute demand generation programs. The Product Marketing Manager will work closely with the VxWorks and Open Source Product Management teams, along with other critical stakeholders including Sales, Corporate Marketing, Alliances, and Services.
Responsibilities include:
• Strategic Marketing plans: Develop product promotion strategy and go to market plan
• Product content and collateral: Produce product content including product overviews, white papers, use case briefs, positioning statements, elevator pitches, value propositions, sales presentations, web site, etc.
• Sales Enablement: Plan, develop, and execute business-level sales training and enablement material. Contribute to, manage, and maintain Jive Strategic Play Sales Space
• Product Launches: Drive the messaging and positioning, sales tools and outbound collateral for new product launches and support the product management team in efficient and successful product launches.
• Outbound Marketing: Plan, develop and execute programs and campaigns that map to product strategy and revenue goals. Contribute to solutions marketing programs and campaigns relevant to product strategy. Support corporate and field marketing events with product collateral, demos, and representation.
• Partner Marketing: Develop joint marketing material and activities deemed relevant to strategic sales plays and product go-to-market strategy. This includes Intel co-marketing, hardware vendors, and ISVs.
• Corporate Initiatives: Plan and/or contribute to corporate marketing initiatives
• Programs and Campaigns: Develop solutions and market specific use case programs and campaigns that align with company strategic initiatives
Experience and skill
•5+ years of product or solutions marketing experience
•Understanding of embedded technologies
•Ability and willingness to learn the technology at a level below the surface
•Understanding of the process to create and execute product positioning and promotion
•Knowledge of basic office tools to create presentations, videos, collateral, etc.
•Desire to outperform and set the example
•Sense of humor
