Pacific Gas and Electric Company's Solutions Marketing department is responsible for the planning, development and execution of marketing and outreach activities that provide PG&E's customers with energy management solutions, including energy-efficiency programs, demand response programs and energy management behavior practices, to integrate into their daily lives and business operations. The Solutions Marketing team is organized by customer segment to provide industry specific expertise for applicable PG&E Programs, Products, and Resources. Solutions Marketing utilizes a wide array of tactics to market PG&E products, services, technologies, electric and gas operations and rates. These marketing efforts range from large-scale campaigns that include media: television, radio, online, and print to in-store marketing, trade shows, Web, and collateral.
The Project Lead will support the Marketing Strategists, Creative Leads and Business Operations teams with the coordination of marketing communications projects and moving them through the various stages of execution. The Project Lead will be responsible for working directly with, creative agencies and other external vendors to develop and maintain project schedules and estimate/track vendor time and costs towards the overall project budget. The Project Lead will be the air traffic controller and highly communicative across all stakeholders and vendors to manage projects on time and on budget. The ideal candidate is a strong project manager with a strong interest and knowledge of marketing.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
========
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 3 years of related work experience with demonstrated project management and vendor management experience
• Detail oriented with strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate effectively
Desired:
========
• Print production experience
• Experience working in large teams or cross-functional work groups
• Previous agency experience and/or experience managing an internal creative services team
• Strong computer skills, particularly with Excel, Basecamp
• Superior analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent consultative, listening, communications and analytical skills
• Critical thinker with excellent judgment and strong initiative
• Flexible and able to cope with dynamically changing priorities
Responsibilities:
• Lead execution of Marketing tactics taking direction from Marketing Strategist
• Serve as day to day contact with agencies on execution of tactics (Database, Creative Agencies, etc)
• Manage execution calendar and detailed tactical schedules
• Manage detailed campaign budgets/forecasts working with agency partners business operations
• Manage development/deployment of all campaign readiness/launch information with internal stakeholders (Call Center, COA, Gen Ref, Department Master Calendars)
• Collect, run reports and organize campaign reporting from digital strategies, email lead, targetbase and creative agencies
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and assess risks to project deliverables, as well as providing contingency plans
