Human Resources Assistant position for Lendmark Financial Req #901- Southeast Atlanta Area (Covington)

 

 

The role of HR Assistant is to provide human resources office support by managing administrative systems and monitoring administrative projects in accordance with Company Policies & Procedures.

 

MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Enters new hire information into HRIS system

• Processes I-9's through E-verify

• Maintains human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases; tracking vacation, sick, and personal time

• Troubleshoot system errors in HRIS system

• Creates and maintains personnel files in HR Records Management File Room.

• Creates and distributes recurring reports

• Orders routine office supplies and maintains copier for HR team

• Manages expense transactions and invoices for HR function

• Executes routine projects within general guidelines and instruction

• Screens calls/voicemails/HR emails and handle or route to appropriate HR functional area

• Provides calendaring activities for the HR team, schedules meeting and conference calls, etc.

• Deals discreetly with confidential information

• Sets up and assists with meetings/various events

• Manages company risk relative to role

 

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

 

• High school graduate or equivalent

• 3+ years' experience in an HR administrative support position

• 2+ years' experience operating an HRIS system

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including strong knowledge of spelling and grammar), organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and math skills

• Exhibited ability to work independently

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, & PowerPoint with strong keyboarding skills

• The ability to deal with complex situations which requires sound judgment

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• Ability to operate office equipment (copier, fax, etc.)

 

PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree

• Expert level use of Microsoft Excel and other office products

• Previous experience in a financial services or retail organization

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

 

• Normal office environment

• Must be able to lift at least 10 lbs.
