Job Summary

Robert Half is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to become an integral part of the team. This role supports Robert Half's Protiviti consulting services division. Protiviti® Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Robert Half Inc., which is a leading, global provider of independent internal audit and business and technology risk consulting services.

The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for providing compensation analysis and assistance to align to the Company's vision and mission. As part of the team, this individual will plan, develop, and implement new and revised compensation programs and plans, incentive structures, and lead cyclical processes, maintaining on-line systems and tools to support administration of these programs. Applies advanced project management, financial modeling and forecasting skills to help design equitable and competitive global compensation plans.



Specific responsibilities include:

• Market analysis including job matching, benchmarking, survey submission and analysis.

• Recommend specific actions to maintain competitiveness against the market including merit salary increases, variable pay strategies and targeted pay positions for key jobs, job evaluation.

• Play an advisory role with HR Partners and management to design new or changing compensation plans, facilitate and/or provide strategic solutions to compensation-related issues, asses and advise on salary range movement.

• Lead/administer online systems and tools supporting key compensation programs such as focal salary planning, promotions and bonus/incentives. Prepare executive summaries. Lead post implementation obtaining feedback from key stakeholders and recommend process/program efficiencies and changes.

• Develop and document procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Analyze compensation program payouts and work closely with Finance on accrual reporting and compensation expense estimates.

• Reconcile data from multiple sources to validate accuracy.

• Partner with HRIS team to ensure systems are updated for any plan changes necessary.

• Develop statistical analysis, data modeling reports, and data for management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in HR, Business, or other applicable field preferred.

• CCP Preferred but not required.

• 4+ years' compensation experience (base pay and bonus), leading job evaluations, cyclical processes, survey methodology and analysis, creating salary structures and ability to prepare, package and present results to internal clients (global experience highly desired).

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, graphs, vlookups, if statements, etc.) Word and PowerPoint. Experience in building and maintaining Access database a plus.

• Demonstrated experience analyzing and solving complex compensation issues through quantitative and qualitative analysis.

• Experience working with relational databases and/or HRMS systems, e.g. ADP, Workday, PeopleSoft, etc. preferred Experience with Compensation-related software applications.

• Ability to manage a variety of projects from start to finish (e.g. needs identification and assessment, modeling and analysis, solution design and implementation) and to effectively handle short notice assignments.

• Flexible and proactive problem solver adept at achieving results in a team oriented and collaborative environment, but also able to function effectively working independently. Thoroughness and very high attention to detail is required and key to the role.

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and diverse cultures, utilizing strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and thrive in a fast paced, demanding environment across multiple time zones.
