Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a full-time Marketing Automation Program Manager to join our clients' Marketing Infrastructure Team. This person will be responsible for driving technical marketing automation projects to completion, while providing excellent internal customer service. The ideal candidate will possess meticulous project management skills, a service-centric mindset, and familiarity with enterprise sales and marketing technology (some marketing automation and CRM skills preferred). The Marketing Automation Program Manager will become well-versed in our clients' global marketing automation system, Marketo, and will be expected to achieve a working knowledge of Salesforce.com, collaboration platforms and other tools as required.
The Marketing Infrastructure Team is a service-driven organization dedicated to the success of our clients' global marketing team. They strive to make better marketing possible – and easy – through innovative technology solutions, well-defined processes, and personal service. The Technical Project Manager will be focused on upholding our clients' vision, working cross-functionally to solve complex issues, and taking initiative to identify new opportunities and propose solutions.
Responsibilities:
Manage technical project log; direct project traffic, coordinate resources, ensure timely project completion
Own and complete independent technical projects as assigned, including basic program and reporting tasks in Marketo and Salesforce.com
Field support requests from marketing automation users, leveraging our team of experts to provide quick and thorough resolution
Coordinate email performance and deliverability reviews; share results and recommendations with global marketing teams, and work with vendors to improve performance
Identify new opportunities to improve marketing automation processes, and work directly with key stakeholders to implement
Stay up-to-date on latest marketing automation best practices and internal processes
Develop and maintain strong business partner, vendor and cross-functional relationships
Maintain close relationship and alignment with Marketing Operations, Sales and IT peers
Skills:
2-4 years of project management, marketing or related business experience
Experience using Marketo, Salesforce.com, and/or similar programs required
Familiar with basic enterprise marketing technology tools and concepts, including marketing automation and CRM
Understanding of metrics tracking and reporting, industry benchmarks, with ability to analyze and make decisions from such data
Experience working with cross-functional teams, global and regional marketing groups and IT
Track record of outstanding service to internal clients
Ability to think creatively to solve problems, taking initiative when necessary
Outstanding program/project management skills
Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent organizational, communication, editing and presentation skills
Customer-service oriented, personable, and positive attitude
Experience with enterprise marketing technology and concepts
Demonstrated success in a similar or relatable role
4-year college degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or a related area
RATE: D.O.E., as W-2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available)
LOCATION: Onsite at clients' office in Santa Cruz, CA. Some remote flexibility once training completed. Must be local. No phone calls, please.
HOURS/DURATION: FT, ASAP-Ongoing (12-18 month consulting assignment)
