Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking an Internal Communications Specialist for our technology client based in Sunnyvale, CA. The Internal Communications Specialist will provide professional marketing services to implement internal communications strategies and programs for our clients' Global Communications Team. The Specialist will be focused on crafting an internal narrative that is credible, compelling, and connects emotionally with key internal audiences. This person will be responsible for the delivery of compelling, integrated messages via online, written and face-to-face communications channels for internal communications programs.
The Internal Communications Specialist will work closely with the Global Communications team to keep global employees informed and engaged on key company strategies, plans, and successes. Reporting to and working closely alongside the Sr. Manager, Internal Global Communications, the Internal Communications Specialist will be responsible for implementing the team's internal communications plan. He/she will align with the Sr. Manager of Internal Global Communications on plans and execution.

Responsibilities:
Implement a global communications plan for the rollout of company programs and experiences
Leverage existing communication channels and create new vehicles to effectively communicate the company story
Drive the development of employee facing messaging and communications including writing and editing blogs, emails and other communications
Work closely with the leadership team to communicate the company story with a consistent tone and voice
Maintain and execute a proactive editorial calendar that keeps news from Global Comms consistent for all employees globally
Measure effectiveness of communications, by identifying benchmarks for employee engagement and reporting on results monthly. Examples include views, comments, likes, shares, sentiment and response from employees.
Skills:
3-5 years combined internal/ employee/corporate communications experience, in global corporate communications or agency environment a plus
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Strong writer who can concisely communicate various types of news to drive employee engagement, including development, planning, writing, editing and implementation.
Experience working across various communications platforms, in both print and digital (including social media)
Ability to transition between multitudes of programs seamlessly
Strong ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
Thrives and leads in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Ability to think outside the box to create new and innovative ways to communicate with employees that reflect the company culture
Familiarity with tools and processes used for managing and monitoring internal communications
BA/BS degree in business, communications, public relations, marketing, or journalism or equivalent practical experience
RATE: D.O.E., as W-2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available)
LOCATION: Fully onsite at clients' office in Sunnyvale, CA. No phone calls, please.
HOURS/DURATION: Full time consulting, ASAP – ongoing
