Sr. Product Manager – Computer Software
Location: Alameda, CA
The 280 Group is working with a leading version control software client to identify three Sr. Product Managers to build the next generation platform. These positions require candidates with the ability to identify and measure the potential for complex technologies that will solve business problems across different industries.
In general, these positions will:
- Provide in-depth analysis of product opportunities
- Own, define and champion product strategy and roadmap
- Document use cases and requirements, shepherding them through the review, design and development process
- Provide ongoing prioritization of investment areas and product features to maximize revenue
- Partner with Product Marketing to generate effective outbound messaging
- Formulate and measure analytics to ensure on-going and enhanced product performance
- Provide insights and contributions to build and launch activities
- Evangelize the product both internally and externally
Here's what you bring to the table:
- BA or BS required, advanced degree in technical field or in business a plus
- 5+ years of product management experience in a high-tech environment
- Prior experience with file sharing, collaboration, or analytic software products
- Demonstrated understanding of modern software development processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of modern development tools and paradigm a plus (e.g., Git, GitHub, Atlassian, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, etc.)
