This role will focus on promoting the benefits of working with Model N and will be responsible for PR strategy development and execution, both domestic and international, using both in-house and agency resources. This position requires a dynamic personality who will be highly visible inside and outside the company and plays a role in generating awareness for one of the industry's leading company. Your success will be measured by impact and quality of press coverage, content development, contribution to strategic, thought-leading program development and effective execution of traditional and new media campaigns. This position will report directly to the Head of Marketing.
Work closely with product marketing and the executive team to develop key messages and positioning and execute campaigns. Strategic decision making, negotiating and influencing are key skills. The ability to work in a fast paced environment with little handholding is critical.
Pitch reporters, analysts and influencers regarding news announcements as well as responding to proactive questions from these audiences
You must possess a social and outgoing personality. Visibility and relationships with the media is key to your success.
Write press materials including tactical plans, press releases, and PowerPoint presentations.
Staff press briefings and be able to lead spokespeople towards appropriate messaging
Provide analysis for measuring impact and quality of outreach.
Qualifications:
An outgoing, social and polished personality with good active listening skills
Good presentation skills
Bachelors degree; post-graduate or professional degrees a plus
5+ years of public relations, communications experience at software or SaaS companies a must
Good writing and editing skills, turning complex messages into crisp messaging
Creativity to expand key messages beyond traditional sources, starting but not ending with social media
Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and implement media plans
Results and metrics oriented
Effective team player and a ���can-do��� personality who can participate and lead efforts across disciplines and functions
