Job Title: Sales/Account Development/Audio Products

Our client is the leading provider of innovative, high quality audio transducers and loudspeaker systems for automotive, consumer and professional audio applications. The company offers an innovative range of products and solutions unmatched in the industry.
In order to develop our products we have a multicultural team of both Western and Asian Engineers permanently located in China. Due to the rapid growth of our company we are looking to expand our sales team by adding a highly talented Account Development/Sales person to the Marin County, CA location. The job is to find new customers for our Asia based audio and video ODM offering. Opportunities for new customers exist in the Consumer, Professional and Automotive markets. Many new entrants are coming from the IT space. Therefore a background of selling hardware to IT and communication companies, combined with a network in the traditional A/V universe would be ideal.
Required Skills:
BSEE required, MS would be preferred.
A minimum of 10 years selling technically sophisticated digital and analog hardware devices is preferred.
Ability to be self managed is very important.
The job includes some travel.
Prior experience in the Audio industry STRONGLY PREFERRED ( but not required)
