This job will perform a variety of activities ensuring that network elements
alarm into the NOC. This includes but not limited to facilitating alarm
testing, validating alarms in fault management tools, issuing trouble
tickets or action reports, and conducting audits as well as documenting the
results. Additional responsibilities associated with Network Element
Acceptance will be; performing acceptance procedures for deployment of New
Network Elements (e.g. the MSC, BSC, RNC, SGSN, Voicemail and National
Nodes) more specifically 3G nodes/elements into the AT&T Mobility Network,
validating that all new elements are completely defined within all
operational and back office databases, for end to end alarm testing to be
performed on the elements.
