Based in San Jose, California, our Corporate Accounting group is seeking highly motivated Senior Revenue Accountant to join the team.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Managing the monthly and quarterly close process for revenue
- Evaluating multi-element revenue arrangements for proper revenue recognition or deferral
- Reconciling service contract revenue, accounts receivable and allowance accounts
- Preparing roll-forward schedules
- Reconciling and Updating BESP and VSOE tables for use in evaluation of multi-element arrangements
- Evaluating and implementing process improvements
- Works closely and collaboratively with the Sales, Operations, Services and other Finance team members
- Interfaces with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audit
Essential Qualifications include:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years accounting experience with 2 years revenue experience
- Oracle experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
