Commercial Gross-To-Net Analyst position w/Pharm & Medicare Part D exp --Central New Jersey
NOTE: RELOCATION ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE STATES OF: Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey or Connecticut
You will be responsible for supporting the Head of GTN in the development of monthly accruals, periodic true-ups, analysis & explanation of actual results & forward-looking performance, & Estimates, Budgets, & long-range plans for GTN items including but not limited to Commercial & Medicare Part D contract rebates, Commercial chargebacks, Copay card, Wholesaler Fee, Returns, Allowances & Adjustments, & Cash discount.
Responsibilities:
Develop accruals for month-end close, periodic Estimates, Budgets, & long-range plans for GTN items including Commercial & Medicare Part D contract rebates, Commercial chargebacks, Copay card, Wholesaler Fee, Returns, Allowances & Adjustments, & Cash discount
• Develop & explain periodic true-ups for the accruals listed above & format them for review w/ the Head of GTN, Accounting, C&P, & Market Access
• Maintain an up-to-date list of all contracts for Commercial / Medicare Part D rebates & Commercial chargebacks, including payment information & more importantly, historical utilization rates & discounts
• Proactively track changes in all Commercial & Medicare Part D rebate contracts / Commercial chargebacks contracts & promptly incorporate applicable changes
• Maintain an up-to-date list of historical & forward-looking TRx by product
• Analyze, explain, & meaningfully summarize GTN variances to support the Head of GTN in the writing of Budget & Estimate GTN Memos
• Proactively track & understand the impact on GTN from changes in applicable legislation & market environment in cooperation w/ C&P & Accounting
• Support the Head of GTN in establishing the framework & collecting underlying data for analysis of profitability by channel
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree & 3+ years similar experience in a pharmaceutical company
• Understanding of & proven ability to develop accruals & true-ups for GTN items listed above
• Track record of building & maintaining business & financial models & "single point of reference" source files
• Demonstrated prior experience w/ Commercial & Medicare Part D contract rebates
• Proven ability to validate key information by contract including utilization & discount by reviewing them thoroughly w/ Market Access
• Hands-on Excel skills including linking, formula nesting, pivot tables, & lookups
NOTE: Ability to travel domestically & internationally as required
