Compensation Manager -- Contractor (4+ months; Full-time or Part-time)
This role provides compensation management and support in the ongoing maintenance of global compensation programs, including base pay, short-term incentive, and long-term incentive (stock) programs. The position is a temporary leave of absence replacement for the Director of Compensation and HR Systems and is responsible for compensation analytics on day-to-day requests as well as any projects arising during the time of contract.
Responsibilities:
-Handles ad hoc compensation requests from other HR functions and internal customers with guidance
-Conducts Excel analytics and provides other assistance in support of annual compensation processes on an as-needed basis
-Participates in worldwide compensation surveys and maintains global market ranges
-Utilizes Oracle and specialized software to create and maintain information on compensation programs; partners with HR Systems to promote accuracy of compensation data reporting.
-Assists organization and HR generalists with career path development, position matching and range development on an as-needed basis
-Participates in or manages projects as assigned, such as FLSA classification or incentive/merit cycle preparation.
-May assist other functions within the HR department as needed
Skills/Experience:
-Minimum 3 years of experience in compensation required, with 5-10 years of experience preferred
-Bachelor´s degree in related field
-CCP or evidence of formal compensation training preferred but not required
-Experience writing functions in Excel
-Strong quantitative skills
-Experience with base pay, equity and variable incentive programs
-Experience using Oracle HRIS and Success Factors systems strongly preferred
-Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including ability to communicate proactively
-Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality of sensitive data
-Attention to detail
-Good customer service skills and ability to collaborate and multi-task
