International Consulting Group Marketing (www.icgmarcom.com), located in Silicon
Valley, is seeking a well-qualified Communications consultant for our leading
technology client.
Offsite flexibility: Considerable offsite work with modest onsite work required
at Client HQ. Must be willing to commute as needed to work onsite in the
Silicon Valley/ South S.F. Bay Area.
Consultant Pay: Depending on experience.
Duration: Part-time, 1 year plus anticipated.
Description: The Communications consultant needs a balance of senior and
strategic big-picture capabilities, multiple projects management skills and
tactical execution flexibility. The consultant must have proven expertise with
communications focused on high tech field enablement and related content
optimization.
MUST HAVE:
• 8-plus years of high tech corporate experience developing, managing and
delivering communications including 4-plus years of field communications
producing field enablement tools and deliverables
• Successful track record providing resources and assets for global field teams
to target a wide range of technical and non-technical prospects, customers and
audiences
• Solid expertise with content; development, management, optimization and
delivery of a variety of impactful field assets
• Excellent writing, editing, and interviewing skills as demonstrated by
previous work experience, as well as relevant writing and content samples
• Proven track record working effectively with Enablement Program Managers,
Sales Stakeholders, SMEs, and Technical Staff/Product Managers to develop and
deliver innovative and highly effective content/collaterals to support field
sales efforts
• Strong capability to re-author/re-purpose existing source content/copy to
optimize online/offline collaterals for Field use including; Customer Value
Stacks, Customer Journeys, Case Studies, Use Cases , Quick Start/Get Started
Guides via WORD documents, webinars, PDF's , PowerPoint's and key Webinar and
presentation components
• Background in product marketing components such as value proposition, sales
training and enablement a plus
• Background with Consulting Services, Professional Services, and/or IT
Services a plus
• BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Sales or related field. MBA a plus
