Human Resources Manager
Location: Denver, CO or Seattle, WA or Los Angeles, CA
This position provides Human Resource support to the organization with regards to all aspects of HR. Areas of focus include employee relations and communications, recruiting activities, performance management, policy interpretation, leading change management initiatives, compensation administration, training, labor relations, managing internal investigations and employee issues, which may include interaction with legal counsel, and overall enforcement of Company values, culture, HR policies and procedures. This position is also responsible for driving effective organizational change management strategies, employee engagement programs and Leadership Development initiatives which proactively drive employee engagement and enablement.
Provide HR support and leadership with respect to day-to-day HR life cycle activities of client group(s), such as:
Employee and labor relations guidance and counsel to management and employees.
Develop and execute a Regional Staffing Plan to support effective staffing of frontline positions that delivers full compliance, strong diversity and effective resource planning.
Execute national compensation strategies within the region to ensure a strong sales culture, proactive earnings management, and effective business performance.
Assist business partners with performance management issues, employee relations and other policy issues, compensation, retention strategies and employee development, as needed.
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations and Nestlé standards. Ensure regular audit procedures in place.
Drive a progressive, proactive environment and high performance culture by providing guidance, direction and leadership in administering human resource activities. Responsible for maintaining working knowledge of and enforcement of relevant current HR legal standards, related to laws such as FMLA, ADA, and EEO rights, Regular interaction with field business partners to resolve employee relations issues.
Assist business partners with performance management and employee development for workforce, as needed.
Conduct annual HR talent assessments and talent & PE (performance) calibrations.
Development of programs, policies and processes
Participate in college and professional recruiting, as needed.
Provide counsel and guidance to leadership on people management and other issues:
Facilitate After Action Reviews and Talent and Performance Reviews.
Lead the performance management and merit processes
Lead Succession Planning process for the field
Assist with the development of strategic HR- related recruitment and retention programs
Assist with the maintenance and accuracy of HR data, including processing SAP data, such as Employee Action Forms and maintenance and upgrading of systems and training and related activities
Requirements:
A Bachelor's (BA or BS) degree required. Education in Human Resource Management or related field preferred from a top tier school.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in Human Resources/Employee Relations. Experience supporting a Direct Store Delivery workforce preferred. Human Resource experience should include familiarity with and experience in recruitment, employee relations, employee communications, and compensation administration (including incentive programs), and leave of absence laws.
Knowledge of basic HR law and applications strongly required.
Travel (Up to 40%)

Must have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
Must be able to work with all levels of employees and management within the organization and to gain trust at all levels
Must possess good presentation and training skills
Understanding of continuous improvement programs and team environments.
Strong grasp of Federal & State Employment Laws.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and prefer SAP HR knowledge
Highly preferred that candidate works for a company that has a solid HR program. Companies that have HR leadership development programs, such as Aerospace companies (Boeing, Raytheon), CPG companies (Pepsico, FritoLay, GeorgiaPacific), General Electric/GE.
