Human Resources Specialist - Diversity position #PR15-13 Norwalk, Connecticut
Responsibilities
Assist the Global Diversity Leader in the development and execution of projects in support of business diversity goals/objectives.
Provide and analyze data and directionally make suggestions based on data findings.
Manage and update the D&I content visible on external website(s) and internal portals
Track and manage the annual diversity and community relations budgets; provide required updates
Provide recruiting support for events that directly involve the diversity office
Provide quarterly diversity reports to sub-businesses and functions
Create PowerPoint presentations, as required
Respond to requests for information that may come from multiple sources
Work with community relations partners, and manage requests for data and project support
Primary focus will be recruiting events/ideas for diverse candidates – from start to finish
Will lead the planning and coordination of all local, regional and national recruiting forums
Includes identifying talent and screening resumes to refer to recruiters for the specific job opening
Help to build pipeline of diverse talent in partnership with Diversity Leader and Affinity Networks
Need experience with creative, innovative ways of leveraging technology and social media
Assist Diversity Leader in other initiatives, as needed
Other administrative duties

Demonstrated strong analytical and project management skills to include data analysis
Evidence of successful management and completion of multiple projects engaged simultaneously
Self-directed and able to work independently as well as with team
Demonstrated creativity and idea generation
Experience with social media sites
Experience and Education
3 to 5 years full life cycle recruiting experience
2+ years robust sourcing experience across multiple channels including experience with cold calling competitors
3+ years recruiting
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
Strategic and tactical recruiting experience needed
Need to be able to travel to recruiting events, as required
Need experience in developing and managing recruiting metrics/dashboard
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Above average experience with Excel and PowerPoint
