Title: Business Analyst
Location: San Jose, CA
Contract: 6+months (renewed quarterly)

Analysis Deliverables
- Conduct assessment of stakeholder requests through detailed business analysis of customer pains, business problems and opportunities
- Establish value case through business metrics in order to support scope prioritization
- Assess size, complexity and cross-functional dependencies
- Prepare Project Scope Document (PSD) comprising SIPOC, Process Maps and Human Workflows, Business Benefits, Recommended Phasing and Dependencies
- Contribute to Cross-functional Effort Assessment
- Ensure alignment with business goals / priorities (as per VSEM), business processes, policies and stakeholders
- Review of scope, business requirements, and solution designs to ensure consistent alignment through the capability enablement lifecycle
- Assist with business capability and scope roadmap
- Contribute to content for toll-gate reviews and user experience acceptance reviews
- Provide oversight as needed to ensure team success
- Provide periodic progress updates to the stakeholdersCreate To-Be workflows, identify gaps, and ensure Svc business rules and policies are adhered to
- Document and provide context and business benefits analysis.
- Align services business benefit and deliverables that will contribute towards overall services commerce capabilities to support ongoing growth of service business, productivity of sales teams, customers and partners while ensuring alignment with Cisco policies
- The consultant shall provide knowledge transfer on any and all deliverables that pertain to the assigned project to the PM or designated employee upon written or verbal request from the PM
-Prior understanding and experience with services selling and buying concepts, workflows, data flows, policies and system solution concepts is required
-Prior understanding and experience with DMAIC methodologies is required
-Prior experience with software development deliverables is required
-Good communication and writing skills to assist with executive, management and working team presentations
-Good presentation skills that can clearly call our statuses, scope, deliverables at different levels (executive, management, working team)
-Good understanding of information publication to assist with program team/external program team knowledge sharing
Services Commerce Business Analysis Deliverables
- Creation of Project Scope Definition document (Typically 5 Parallel Release) with SIPOC
- Creation of SCIPAB (Situation, Complication, Implication, Position, Action, Benefits)
- Business Process Maps of Existing and Future Workflows
- Business Policy Assessment and Recommendations
- Business Solution Assessment and Recommendations
- Business Benefit Analysis and Identification with Risk and Mitigations
- Create and provide data analysis to support benefits and risks
- Assist with policy and work instruction creation, and communication
- Proposed scope phasing with identified dependencies
- Weekly Project Status and Project Plans Updates
- Action Item List for each release Tracker
- Scope List for each release Tracker
- Presentation slides at operational and executive levels to deliver status outcomes
- Webex Social Site Updates
- Meeting cadence Tracker
- Doc Maintenance to ensure all project deliverables are easily managed
- Project management skills
