Mission: The Sr. Events Manager/Producer will work closely with the Event Trade Show Manager or team to provide support for corporate tradeshows, events and sponsorship programs to ensure successful execution for our client's internal customers. In this position, the individual will be responsible for overall project management before, during and after event trade show execution. The job function's core responsibilities include organizing, planning, coordinating, and executing tactics that align to the event or trade show's goals, metrics, tools messages.



The Sr. Events Manager/Producer plans and executes Enterprise marketing events, such as trade shows and User related conferences. This may include managing the logistical planning of large multi-segment trade shows, as well supporting smaller industry events, customer or Sales meetings.

Must be able to coordinate trade show/events logistics such as transportation, shipping, including manage event registration, hotel booking, lead generation programs, preparation of planning presentations and supporting materials including pre and post-event evaluations. Provides on-site event support, oversee exhibit installation and dismantling.

Propensity for researching potential event locations and evaluate alternatives. Procures and coordinates vendor services, securing of facilities, demo, AV equipment, and catering requirements.

The ideal individuals must efficiently multi-task, meet deadlines and have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Must have the ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems. The position requires experience in design and installation of product/technology demonstration areas within a trade show or events environment. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills is a must.

Candidate must regularly interface and align with various cross functional and business units such as marketing, sales, channel, and product teams to drive the collaboration and communication necessary for bringing the strategy to life. Proven records of delivering results and metrics are key to qualification.

The ideal individual is self-motivated, self-directed, however, has a proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team; must be able to demonstrate the ability to work well with others.

Skills and Attributes:

Transforming business objectives into actionable deliverables. Coordinate the use and delivery of marketing materials in partnership with internal stakeholders.

Individual must demonstrate experience running corporate events and industry tradeshows, both domestic and international, ranging from event logistics, staffing, graphics, and vendor management.

Knowledge of events that support the marketing of Enterprise products in the B2B and B2C spaces is highly desired.

The individual should have experience with evaluating the ROI of these marketing communication initiatives.

The candidate should bring considerable experience managing initiatives and promotions that increase trade show impact (such as videos, interactive displays, etc.). The ideal candidate will bring a working knowledge of creative and print production.

Position requires strong negotiation skills in order to provide our client with excellent services while meeting budget requirements. Experience in budget management and reconciliation is a must.

The candidate must also demonstrate a proven record of effectively working with multiple internal teams external vendors.

The candidate must be capable of developing comprehensive production, marketing, communication plans production timelines. Excellent written and oral communication is a core requirement. Proficient in MS Project and PowerPoint is a must.

Managing day-to-day trade show requirements such as RFPs, planning briefing processes, budgets, documentation, meeting notes and vendor negotiations.

Tracking all properties, assets, recommending and evaluating vendors, researching and proposing new methods for improving our client's execution of corporate events.

This position requires a BS/BA degree or equivalent with 5 or more years of industry related experience.



Length: ASAP to 6 months to a year with possibility of conversion to perm

Location: Milpitas, CA, 3 to 4 days onsite, with flexibility to work from home 1 to 2 days per week
