Position: Front-end developer
Location: New York City, NY
Duration: 12+ months
Billing Rate: $55/hr All Inclusive on Corp to Corp
FACE- FACE IS MANDATORY

Role Responsibilities:
· Work with a cross-functional team to develop high quality products
· Collaborate with other developers to maintain standards and create a re-usable codebase
· Anticipate business needs and propose efficient technology solutions to requirements
Job Requirements:
· Expertise in hand-coding HTML, XHTML, XSLT, CSS and XML
· Strong knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
· In-depth knowledge of cross-browser limitations, compatibly, and HTML/CSS quirks
· Write clean, efficient cross-browser compatible code without resorting to browser specific workarounds
· Ability to code clean, scalable websites
· Working experience with PHP and Adobe Photoshop.
· Full understanding of W3C standards and web best practices
· Willingness to handle both large projects and small tasks as needed
· Ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks across multiple projects, under tight deadlines
· Experience collaborating with design and development teams on large-scale projects
· Working knowledge of SEO best practices for website development
· Proven ability to work independently - candidates will be expected to discuss examples
· Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
