ROLE: Oracle Apps DBA (10+ Years in Oracle Apps) Location: Costa Mesa, CA Duration: 3+ Months
Required Skills: Technology\Oracle\Integration\Package Integration\Oracle Apps DBA (lv2 wt1) OR Technology\Oracle\Integration\Package Integration\Oracle DBA (lv2 wt1) Knowledge to oversee and mentor client resources with respect to best practices in migrating an Oracle eBusiness implementation (database & application tier) from a SUN server to a SUN T8000 server. Needs to have been through an implementation and understand the idiosyncrasy with respect to database migration process. Must have complete knowledge of Oracle "ad" utilities such as "adconfig" and be able to explain what components need to be changed to assist with an eBS migration
Preferred Skills: Oracle EBS DBA w/upgrade & migration experience
Responsibilities: Guide and mentor client resources with respect to best practices and appropriate configuration of the migrated Oracle eBusiness database (moving to T8000) – needs to be an expert in the upgrade process; will be questioned about their technical skills
