Software Systems Engineer
Job Duties: Understand software product requirements and develop software engineering functional specifications that meet these product requirements. Design, program, unit test, integration test the software for server and database components for current and next generation network management systems. Interact with marketing, quality assurance and customer support organizations on a time to time basis and provide engineering support for customer and quality issues.
Job Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering plus five years progressive experience in software engineering. Also requires proficiency C++ programming language; Microsoft SQL database; proven programming knowledge of COM and DCOM middleware; experience programming on Windows operating system.
